Bloodline The Doberman Family eBook Richard Estrada Corey

I must admit that this review is based on the first two pages of the book, because I just couldn't past that point due to my frustration with the way it was written. I don't want to discourage a new author who seems to have very good ideas, but this book should have passed through the hands of an editor before being published.

There are many grammatical errors on the first page, including the opening phrase (which is not a complete sentence). The story begins in the past tense, shifts to the present, and then skips back and forth between the two quite haphazardly -- to the point where it becomes difficult to follow. There are numerous misspellings and errors in punctuation sprinkled throughout.

In spite of this, the storyline draws the reader into the text, which shows that the author should continue to write. There are many books being published today that are rough and unpolished (although perhaps not quite as rough as this one). I highly recommend that all books be edited by someone (other than the author) who has an adequate command of written English.

Bloodline The Doberman Family eBook Richard Estrada Corey Reviews

I only read the first few pages in the "Look Inside", but what I did read I enjoyed. It is a promising start to what sounds like an engaging story for pre-teens and younger.
This is an endearing story about a Doberman family. This a revised edition from what the first reviewer said. I found it to be pleasant and an easy read. It reminded of early books I read such as "Jonathon Livingston Seagull" or "Watership Down". If you like books like that you might enjoy this outing. There also nice illustrations to go with the story.
love the book need pictures
Bloodline - The Doberman Family
The book teaches tolerance. It has Adventure, Love of Family,
and Adjusting to Obstacles in Life. Most definitely for children !

I enjoyed reading this story. Being a k9 handler, I enjoyed a simple story with a great story line. It uses the characters of a bloodline family and relates it to the same successes and trials that are endured in our normal life. It was an excellent story and an easy read. It was enjoyed by my whole family. As it was an easy read, it made it simple for all members of various ages to enjoy.
Love the book. A friend of mine wrote it. He is into children's causes. This book would be more appreciated by children under 13 years. But I'm an old lady and I loved it. I would positively give it 5 stars. My friend lives in a small town in northwest Arizona and is always doing things for children. As in charity work and doing things to keep children from getting into bad situations. He did shows years ago that included the group (No Doubt) when they were just starting and other groups also, just for the children. He is a wonderful and caring human being. He stayed in my home with me for over a year, but just as a friend. I have eight Min Pins and he really loved them. If you knew his heart you would know why I love the book so much. He had the book then but it was on paper and not published. Even though I had read it then I had to buy a copy to have when my grandchildren when they come over.
